Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship had some great amenities such as the Serenity Deck for adults 21 and older the problem was that there was VERY little space available and people were saving spots by leaving their things on the lounges and then going to do other things for hours on end and this really needed to be monitored and taken care of. The Jamaican bar tender at the Red Frog was a real jerk and completely rude. The Sea Side theater was awesome however the movies were from the 80's and 90's mostly and really needed to be updated and more current as hardly anyone was on the deck to watch the movies which would have otherwise been a great experience. The ports of call were less than thrilling unless you don't mind spending your entire day lounging on the beach in the sun. It was gorgeous and for a little while that might be fine but for HOURS of just laying in the sun, not so fun. You could do the excursions for a pretty penny but other than that, not incredibly impressed/

Pros: The hospitality of most of the crew

Cons: Food choices (VERY little vegan choices), entertainment so-so, ports of call not great at all

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Food and Dining
The food was okay however there weren't hardly any vegan choices on board the ship at all which meant my daughter, who is vegan had hardly any protein the entire 7 days we were on the cruise.
Since we've been on other Carnival Cruises it felt as if the entertainment was a bit repetative.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Amenities were sparse but the stateroom was great!
Service and Staff
With the exception of the Bar tender from Jamaica that worked at the Red Frog this was wonderful! Our Room Steward was the best!
