Great cruise overall!

Sail Date: January 07, 2012

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship is very clean and the cabin is maintained wonderfully! The food was good, not wonderful but a nice variety. It is fun trying all of the different foods. Service in dining room has definitely gotten slower than on past cruises. Shows were good, juggler/comedian/singers/dancers. One night was a disappointment as there was no show, no piano bar, no activity in the theater. Fun parties on Lido deck two nights. Beautiful island of St. Thomas but tour was overpriced. San Juan is just a typical city except for the huge fort. Grand Turk is beautiful and the beach is right by the dock!!!

Pros: We enjoyed the shows and the variety of the food.

Cons: Slow dining room service and a "mishap" of the ship which tilted/listed at least 30 degrees...with people falling out of the shower, glasses sliding off tables, wine bottles falling, 6 -8 inches of the pool drained out, etc.!! A bit scary but never happened again and never happened on my previous 6.

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

We had a room at the rear of the ship..way too far to walk to places!
