Very relaxing cruise!

Sail Date: December 17, 2011

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was large and in good shape. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our balcony cabin was good for 2 people. Only issue was that refrig in cabin didn't work. We called for repairs but they were never done.

Things were well organized for the most part, and the activities were fun. We participated in bingo, trivia, slot tournament, karaoke, dodge ball tournament and the shows were fantastic. Our kids did not choose to participate in either the 12-14 or 15-17 year old groups due to lack of interesting activities planned. We would have liked more karaoke that the kids could participate in, and a nicer karaoke jockey.

The food was great - especially the burger joint on deck 9. We enjoyed our dinners in the Silver Olympian every night.

Overall, we had a great time, and would definitely sail Carnival again. We would prefer a smaller ship next time.

Pros: Ports of Cozumel and Isla Roatan

Cons: Tender process was onerous. We didn't have excursions booked through Carnival and almost missed our tour one day. Repairs to our refrigerator were never done.
