The Wal-Mart Cruise

Sail Date: April 01, 2011

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Although the ship was clean and nice looking - we were disappointed more than we were impressed about the quality of the: food, shows, places to spend quiet time together on the ship, cabin rattlings, and friendliness / helpfulness of crew members.

Pros: The destinations

Cons: quality of cabin, food and shows; politeness of crew members;

Recommends Carnival Liberty? No.

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
The rooms were clean but we had continued problems with the a/c - it burned out twice smoking us out in the process. Also, we had continued rattling problems which made it almost impossible to sleep - pictures and ceiling panels.
Service and Staff
Most of the staff members were not rude but for being on a cruise, they were not friendly and didn't seem like they wanted to help.
The quality was very sophomoric - we were very disappointed overall
Food and Dining
our table location was the best part of dinner - we were seated at the rear of the ship and enjoyed watching the sun set and/or leaving the port of call as we eat dinner. The food was nothing to write home about - it just wasn't bad.
