invalid-33581 Sail Date: April 02, 2011 Ship: Carnival Liberty Cabin Type: Inside Traveled As: Family (older children) Reviewed: 7 years ago
The ship was in good condition -- clean. Smaller than some others we have been on, leading to less walking (good) but more rolling in seas and a feeling of more crowds (bad).

Quality good. Lines were worse than on other cruises for lunch and breakfast, Omelot stations, burrito stations, stir fry stations are all nice, but the lines could run 20+ minutes and then you had to get in another line for other items (fruit, salad, etc.)

Night time was a lot of fun. A number of bars with different music. Very "alive"

Our children did not have an interest in the children's programming, but for a 12 year old boy who likes hoos, the cruise was a big disappointment. Other cruises have had a full court hoops court with a cruise activities person supervising. This cruise has a small half court, with no supervision, so the older teens just took control. There could be 10 playing with 10 waiting to play on the single court.
