We never found the time to explore everything on board but we loved Harry's Steakhouse. Just the usual casino and shops, but the public areas are very nice. Great area for the kids called Without Batteries that included a disco, game arcade and what looked like a bar - the disco seemed very popular (no surprise there).
Camp Carnival kept the kids on the cruise occupied and there wasn't much sign of them which was quite surprising considering my husband and I (childless) went during spring break season. Every Carnival cruise we've been on seems to really have such a popular children's program that we've recommended it to friends with children.
Food and Dining

There are several dining options on Carnival, which we really like. The food is only average, but it's nice to be able to eat in the dining room or in one of the several food areas available on the Lido deck and still get the same quality of food. We love the pizza, but the Carnival Libery also has a deli, sushi bar, burrito bar and buffet lines that change menus daily.
A special treat, which I believe is available on most Carnival ships, is Harry's Steakhouse. We weren't too thrilled to be paying an additional $30 per person, but the service, food and ambience proved worth much more than what we paid.

So much too do that it's impossible to fit everything into 7 days. Very sorry to have missed the pool slide, in fact we never found time to hit any of the pools or jacuzzis! Bingo, horse races, popular game shows, amazing dancing/singing shows, silly deck games that are so funny you have to try to catch them playing on the tv in your cabin to see them again.

We found the public areas to be spotless and our cabin was in great condition. We were surprised that the elevators seemed to be spaced very far apart...we like the balconies on the back of Carnival ships and while there was an elevator not too far from our cabin we found that to access some of the decks we had to walk very far to those elevators. It also took us a couple of days to figure out how to get around the ship, but I guess that's to be expected as ships keep getting larger. Surprised, but pleased, to see that there are several hand sanitizing stations throughout the ship.

Love Carnival's bedding...very cozy. In a Premium Vista Balcony we had plenty of closet space and room under the bed to store our 2 large suitcases. Love the amenities in the bathroom. A favorite treat since our very first cruise in 1989 has been the towel animals, amazingly creative. Our cabin steward and his assistant(s) were very accommodating given our erratic schedules from day to day.
Although it's a small island, Grand Turk is just amazing. We don't snorkel or dive, but you couldn't help but be captivated by the incredibly clear water. We took the historic tour with a beach stop and definitely did not have enough time. Our guide recommended a restaurant for great fish (White Star Restaurant) but with less than an hour before sailing we decided to pass. We are planning another cruise on the Carnival Destiny to visit this port again in 2012.
