This is our 3rd cruise and the other 2 were with Royal Carribean. Had this been our 1st cruise we may have thought higher of it. We found ourselves comparing the service , experience, and food to Royal Carribean's and it just didn't hit that mark. Our biggest issue was that the food looked great but didn't taste great. It wasn't terrible just BLAND. The steak tasted like roast beef etc. It was frustrating to be disapointed meal after meal. The shows had talented dancers and singers. We didn't care for the Sammy Davis Jr. Tribute artist. Maybe it was before our time but we left early.
Food and Dining

Okay but not Royal Carribean. Their food was amazing. Carnival seems to use cheap food and you can tell the difference. Dining staff was great, a true highlight was their service! Liked the dining on your own time deal. We were able to have a table for 2, LOVED THAT! The dining rooms were amazing and very clean. We wished the food matched the level of the service.

The staff was great no complaints at all there.

It was harder to navigate than previous ships we've been on. The finishes are nice and it feels current and looks pretty new. It was very clean.

Clean and nice. We were on our 10 year wedding anniversary trip and walked into a room with 2 twin beds perpindicular to each other and different heights. I probably picked this room arrangement by mistake so it was likely my fault. They were able to make a single big bed at the same height so that was appreciated! The beds were VERRRRRY uncomfortable (FIRM)! Our backs were in knots the whole trip. Not what you want on a relaxing cruise!
Went to the rainforest. Pretty. Bus ride was a white knuckle thrill ride! with 2 stops at the gas station (professional!). We heard it was very dangerous so we stayed out of downtown. I would go see the forts. We didn't but they looked cool on the ride out of the bay.
Ride the lift up the hill! The views are amazing. The Bushwacker drink was good at the bar up there. Yacht watching is fun there too. What do these people do for a living OMG! Your jaw will hit the floor to see the wealth displayed on the pier.
Don't Miss: Ride the lift. Heard the market under the big white tent was nice.
If you want a clean beautiful white beach with palm trees for shade if you please, this is the place. There is a huge pool right off of nice shopping areas. margaritas are great a t margaritaville! Swim up to the bar if you wish!
Don't Miss: Margaritaville!
We like seeing the Atlantis (2nd time there). Unfortunatley the areas you are allowed to see as a walk in tourist arenow very limited. We did think Nassau seemed cleaner this time. We aren't big fans of Nassau. I would rather spend an extra day at Grand Turk.
Don't Miss: TheAtlantis is about all worth seeing
Pros: The ship was very nice. The outdoor theater was nice at night.
Cons: The food was just not good. Very bland across the board.
