Carnival really is the "Fun Ship"

Sail Date: August 21, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship has so many venues to hold all of the different on board activities. There is more than one pool area.

Pros: big ship with lots of amenities

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Children's Programs
My son is age 10 and he left after one hour because they allow wild unruly children to hit others. Everybody stays means that violence is not stopped and ignored. I asked about this and was treated to a shrug for an answer. Take the child can check himself out option for your child.
Cabin / Stateroom
The balcony rooms are still very small and don't have enough closet space for even one suitcase.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
All the meals in the dining room are good and some are great.
Service and Staff
The main show is very lackluster.
Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (Private Island)
Beautiful pristine beach. Parasailing was done by a very good boat captain. Fun and safe.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Swimming with the dolphins was really great. DVD and photos pricey but what a memory.
Grand Turk Island
Clear waters and great snorkeling.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Rainforest was alot of driving and very little time for hiking. (30 minutes)
