Overall we had a great time cruising on the Carnival Liberty, mostly because of the great crew throughout the ship. They really have mastered the Customer Service concept, and make you feel well attended to. However, the cleanliness of the public spaces (at the end of the Caribbean crew season) was a little lacking. Also, we were disappointed that there was no movie theatre except the large outdoor screen (which was fun), and they showed only one night-time movie. AND there were way too many SMOKING venues, with the adjacent public areas reeking of smoke. We non-smokers had no choice but to "enjoy" those cigarettes with the smokers. because containment of air contanimation were poor.

Pros: excellent food; GREAT staff; 3 pools (incl. adults only); really nice gym/spa

Cons: too many smoking/SMOKY public areas; no movie theatre; no sports bar Smoke-Free to see our Celtics/Heat Playoff Game; many people were smoking on ALL the decks; schedule for the shows seemed different each night, and changed fron the printed FUNSHIP daily newpaper listing
