Terrific family cruise on Liberty!
Carnival Liberty Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Ship: Carnival Liberty
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (young children)

My husband and I took our daughter and granddaughter on a seven day Eastern Carribean cruise out of Miami. Our timing was great. There were enough children on the cruise to make it interesting for our six year old granddaughter, but not enough to make the adults uncomfortable. (There are at least 500 children booked on the ship for the week of Thanksgiving!) We booked this cruise mainly for the port of Half Moon Cay and it did not disappoint. What a wonderful beach day.
Although we missed Grand Turk because of a medical emergency, we thought the cruise overall was wonderful. We had originally been seated at a table for four but asked to be moved to a larger table and we were moved and had dinner with two other wonderful couples. Several nights our granddaughter chose to do theCamp Carnival activities rather than formal dining (although she is very well behaved and engaging) and that made for several all-adult dinners.
We booked a spa level cabin, oceanview, for three adults and one tall six year old and we never felt crowded. The window was like a patio door (which, of course, did not open) and the cabin incorporated what would have been balcony space into the room (very roomy even for three not-so-small adults). Since it was so close to the spa we were able to split up and do some showers in the spa (larger showers anyway) very conveniently.
Pros: Oceanview Family Cabin
