Loved our cruise

Sail Date: June 27, 2009

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

We sailed on Carnival Liberty to the Western Caribbean w/ another couple & we had the time of our lives. There was always something to do,& if you just wanted to relax by the pool you could do that as well. We have already boked our next Carnival Cruise.

Pros: Relaxation & being pampered

Cons: geting off the boat a week later

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

George Town, Grand Cayman
Very pretty, took a cab for $2.50 a person to 7 mile beach
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
We hiked Dunns River Falls & it was wonderful then went on the Bob Sled which was a blast. The only downfall is everyone you meet will ask for a tip then we our waiter tried to rip us off at a restaurant by the pier...we caugt it it & only payed for what we ate...pay close attention to how they add your bill & make sure they charge the right price for what you purchase...they did neither of those then aded a 16.5 % tax on top. Lunch for 2 was over $50 & should'v only been around $38...
Cozumel, Mexico
rented a jeep & drove around the island...beautiful beaches that are secluded.
