Relaxing Pre-Christmas Cruise

Very friendly staff on a ship that was the right size with an excellent menu. The Harry's Supper Club (for an additional $30 / person) was well worth the investment as it was a very nice change of pace in both the menu and the excellent level of service.

Pros: Variety of guests enjoying family time together

Cons: Short time in San Juan

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Philipsburg, St. Maarten
St. Martin is the best island in the Caribbean!!! The Dutch side is very oriented to shoppers and the new (3 yrs old) board walk in Phillipsburg makes this a great destination. The beach is right there and bordered by great restaurants and outstanding shopping. The French side is my favorite as it is very different from the Cruise Ports. Marigot is very picturesque, continental, and authentic. Orient Beach is a great place to relax. For the more adventurous, Pinel Island is a wonderful escape but takes more time to reach. And if you can stay late into the evening, don't miss the restaurants of Grande Casse!
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
The excursion to St. John's Trunk Island for snorkeling is supposed to be great but it was cancelled this trip due to high waves.
