An excellent family vacation!

Sail Date: November 29, 2008

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

The Carnival Liberty is a beautifully appointed ship from top to bottom. It is well maintained and someone is always doing something to keep it looking new.

Pros: The warmth and friendliness of the crew

Cons: I wish we could have stayed longer in San Juan

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Wow! A beautiful island with wonderful people. Every bit as gorgeous as the pictures show, the beaches were fantastic. The town has that old world charm to it.
Don't Miss: If you like shopping for jewelry, this place has everything and then some.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Nice beaches, although the island is not as lush as most in the tropics. We did a tour of the whole island to see both sides, it was very informative and worthwhile. Shopping for gift items was good and inexpensive in both countries main ports.
Don't Miss: Stop in the mercado for a relaxing drink and appetizer and enjoy the lovely weather.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
We enjoyed old San Juan, but because we didn't arrive until 5 PM the forts and monuments were closed.
Don't Miss: Go to see EL Moro if you can.
