Truly a GREAT Experience

Sail Date: March 01, 2007

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

My wife and I sailed the Queen Mary II this past December and were somewhat letdown....NOT SO with the Liberty...it gave much more than we expected!! The stateroom (outside) was spacious and very clean. The entire ship was CLEAN. The shows were among the best on ANY cruise line, and this with only 1 male and 1 female singer...they were great. The main dining room food was very good and never a disappointment...the buffet had lots of choices and room service, although limited in items, was delivered promptly and was satisfying. Physically the ship is very stylish and easily traversed. It never seemed crowded or lacking anything. A small critique...no hand sanitizing offered anywhere except public bath rooms..and they only hand hand dryers...a small inconvenience at worst. Our 8 day cruise on this ship was more enjoyable than ever imagined...Carnival should be very proud.

Pros: The room, the food, the shows

Cons: drinks could be considered expensive

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!
