Fun in the sun

Sail Date: December 17, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

This was our first cruise. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere on the Liberty and all of the options for dining and libations. There were lots of children on the ship, but they really didn't get in the way. We will bring our own next time. We had a balcony room, it was a small balcony, but the room itself was a good comfortable size.

Pros: The large Ship offered a lot of choices, lots of lounges and activities

Cons: It was a bit crowded at times - certain places - such as the Sushi Bar

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

George Town, Grand Cayman
Typical Caribbean Port.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
This port must have been specifically designed for cruise ships, and it was very crowded the day we arrived, with 4 other boats in port. It's just a small place with a market, beach, and a couple of restaurants. With this said, everything you need it right there, and it is easy to enjoy without rushing around. We visited Cacchoban Mayan ruins, and we really enjoyed them.
Don't Miss: Mayan Ruins
