We were quite disappointed in the level of service generally provided by the staff on this ship. The exceptions were our servers in the evening, although the food was bland and tasteless. While I understand the difficulty in pleasing each palate, I expect a little salt and spice when it is called for. The chocolate buffet was beautiful to look at, but each item out of dozens seemed to taste the same. Grand Marnier souffle????? Where was the orange flavor? This seemed to hold true for everything on board, excepting the chevre pizza.
The staff ( generally speaking) was timid and really didn't enforce any of the courtesy rules, such as "reserving" deck chairs with towels after 30 minutes. While the ports were enjoyable, the ship in general was not. Overall, I do not expect to return to Carnival Cruise Lines. The ship was beautiful, but that was where "the Fun" stopped.

Pros: the family we had dinner with each night

Cons: the lack of quality entertainment and bland unflavorful food
