Terrific Cruise

Sail Date: March 01, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The Liberty staff was EXCELLENT, eccept for our waiter in the dining room. It truly was a "Fun Ship" largely attributed to the cruise director Butch. The ports of Cozumel. Cayman Islands and Ocho Rios were great. We have cruised on many other lines but for FUN..this was the best!!

Pros: The ship was beautiful, the staff was friendly and service oriented, the cabin was spacious and well appointed, the cruise director was tremendous. Except for the dinners, the food in all the other venues offered was very good and offered a very diverse selection of food.

Cons: The dining room waiter meant well but needed more training to maximize his service. The dinner selections were very varied but often not hot when delivered and the quality, except for the fish, was of modest quality.

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Food and Dining
Only the dinners were average.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very happy with our bright inside cabin, which was a first as we normally do outside and/or with balcony but a 12 & 13 old with us and wanted a room next to us and was the only way we could be assured was to take an inside cabin as they had.
