A Spoiled Cruise

Sail Date: July 18, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

We planned this cruise specifically for our grandsons, ages 11 & 13, & during our conversations with & Carnival personnel were never told they would be separated due to their ages. This spoiled the main purpose of our choosing Carnival and the Liberty.

Pros: Room attendant, dining room waiter & guest services

Cons: Kids program staff

Recommends Carnival Liberty? No.

Children's Programs
Since we were never told 11 & 13 year olds could not share the same program, our cruise was spoiled.
Ship Quality
Too much cleaning & other equipment in the passageways in the evening.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Could not have been better.
Service and Staff
Great, except for the rudeness and lack of interest shown by the kids programs staff.
