Worst Cruise I've ever been on

Sail Date: December 30, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

Nice, but nothing to write home about. I've been on other Carnival ships that were far superior than this one. The weather was horrible which was not Carnival's fault, but two of three ports were shortened to 5hrs, and the last port was cancelled. You would think that the captain would have taken us to another port since he knew ahead of time that the weather was going to be bad. Instead they kept everyone on the ship knowing that they would make more money from a ship full of board people.

Pros: Getting off

Cons: Everything

Recommends Carnival Liberty? No.

Service and Staff
Food and Dining
The buffet room served the same food everyday. The quality of the dining room food was just average.
The entertainment on this ship was definitely poor. The activities were few. Nothing special.
Ship Quality
Ship was clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
Typical cabin with a balcony.
Nassau, Bahamas
It is hard to rate this port since we were only there for four hours.
George Town, Grand Cayman
The short five hours we were there were nice. But again hard to rate because of the short time we were there.
