Not Terrible but not great

The Liberty is a beautiful ship. Navigating the interior is a bit confusing as you can only get from from the front to the back using deck 2, 5, and 9. The dining staff that we had for the main dinners was fantastic. They went out of their way for us so many times. All of the other staff was so so. Some were even rude. Several times we were told "no that can't be done". I am very easy going but when you are a valued guest on a quality service ship like the last cruise I took "no" is not a response you get from the staff. The drinks were pityful. At $5 up to $10 per drink I should taste some alchohol and not just drink mix. The drinks were oveloaded with sugar and in very small cups as well. There is a laundry service available but you might as well as do your own. We never received a laundry bag and did not hear meantion of it until two days before the cruise was over. There was no direct way to get in touch with our head steward like a phone number. You had to catch them in the hall when they were around. The room itself was very nice and well taken care of but ammenities that were offered were not in the room such as continental breakfast menus, bathrobes everyday, ect.

Pros: Dining Staff, Shows, Excursions

Cons: Bar Staff, Buffet Staff, Breakfast Staff, Room Steward Access, Heard No way too many times

Recommends Carnival Liberty? No.

Food was pretty good. More vegetarian alternatives would have been nice in the main dinner menu.

Well taken care of and well laid out.

Ship Quality
Large ship with a lot of amenities such as bars, casino, shops, sushi bar, deli, pizzaria, karoke, dance club, etc.
Entertainment
Dining staff was amazing. Room staff hard to get in touch with. All other staff needs a lot of training in quality customer service.
