Dancing and Trivia every 30 minutes

Sail Date: April 01, 2013

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was interesting\, only it was impossible to find a quiet spot. AC was turned way down so we got colds.

Pros: Food\, service\, interesting ports of call

Cons: TOO COLD & Lido always just closed when I got there to have a small snack

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!

Ship Quality
All was kept clean and working. Our cabin window broke the second night so they moved us elsewhere. They only have electric dryers in public bathrooms but offer sheets of paper to open the door with\, which makes mess on the floor. Two door to each bathroom were hard to open and bothersome. Many seats in the theater have no view.
Food and Dining
Excellent quality of food\, we were really impressed. No drunks sleeping in the hallways as we expected (apparently a reputation of the Line that needs an update).
Cabin / Stateroom
Just fine.
Service and Staff
Very friendly staff\, thank you! Some waiters better (Esumitra\, Joel) than others.
Singing and dancing during the dinner time was corny. Dancing on tables interrupts conversation and makes our food get cold. There was literally no entertainment I would be interested in. Just singing\, dancing and trivia every 30 minutes. No lectures usually present on sea days during long cruises.
