Sail Date: July 01, 2011 Ship: Carnival Legend Cabin Type: Inside Traveled As: Family (older children) Reviewed: 6 years ago
The main dining room experience was wonderful. There was ample closet space in the inside cabin for storage. The bathroom was larger than expected. Very clean ship. Free and delicious sushi bar each night from 5-8. Extremely friendly staff and servers! Nice adult pool area with cushioned chaise lounges and cabanas.
Food and Dining

We chose early dining and stopped by for free shushi bar on the way. Since I need to eat Gluten Free, the Head Waitress would give me the menu for the next night at dinner. She let me know what I could order that could be made gluten free. It was an extensive choice and absolutely delicious! No mistakes were made and I did not feel self conscious. It was a dream to eat so much wonderful food!! The wait staff was tremendously courteous and attentive!

The shows with the Legend dancers were lacking. The family friendly comedians were outstanding and hiliarious. The same comedian, at the adult show, was a disappointment. By adding the "f" word, in every sentence, detracted from his material/show. The juggler was terrific. Our teenagers loved the scavenger hunts..very entertaining!
Service and Staff

The entire staff was friendly and became our "family" by the end of the week!
Nice shopping for local handcrafts. Beautiful cloth/embroidered shoulder hipster bags. The chair lift has gone up in price to $12 for all day. A great bird's eye view, and quick ride to the beach, but now pricey. Lots of empty chairs as compared to 1 1/2 years ago, when the price was $6 for all day.
Beautiful colors of water! We took a cab to the 7 mile beach for pictures, $14. Great photo session for teenage daughters! My in-laws went snorkling for $11 near Effy's jewelry, just a 5 minute walk. Was terrific! Nice shopping for black coral jewelry (right near pier) Guy Harvey t-shirts and Margaritaville t-shirts.
