Review summary

The Legend is another typical Carnival ship. Everything is in its usual place. Everything is of its usual good quality. The decor is not what I would call even good, but then who goes on a cruise based on the wallpaper in the lobby?? The rooms were clean the public spaces friendly and inviting. Some of the bar areas were befuddling (why would anyone think a bar made of wood bench seating was a good idea??) But over all it is what you expect on an above average cruise line.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

Got to get out of town to see the city
Don't Miss: cave tube

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Beatiful in every way. But you have got to beat on that Taxi driver for a decent fare.
Don't Miss: west end

George Town, Grand Cayman

Beach, sting rays, then what?

Cozumel, Mexico

You got to know to get out of town here. Diving is great, beach is great. There are plenty of beach sites where your family can beach it, while you run out for a quick dive.
Don't Miss: If you scuba, then scuba

Pros: ports of call

Cons: variety of food, buffet

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!
