We sailed the Western Caribbean on the Carnival cruise ship "Legend". The previous three ships could not compare to the "luxuriousness" of the "Legend".This ship was like being on land (with the exception of one day of rough seas) and sleeping in until 9am was most relaxing. There must be a "sleep potion" sprayed on the bed prior to our returning to the cabin in the evening. I have never slept so peacefully. The dining room staff and cabin staff were top shelf. None of our requests was refused. Getting on and off the ship was like walking through the front door of your home. Wait time was minimal and the traffic flow was very smooth.

Pros: Customer service, customer service, customer service (outstanding)

Cons: The dining room food.

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
The Mayan ruins at Chacchoben were a wonderful cultural experience. Our tour guide was of Mayan descent very knowledgeable. Tere is a $5.00 fee charged for use of video cameras but this should not discourage anyone from taking one. The architecture is worth the film and the sounds of the birds simply melodic.
Don't Miss: The Chacchoben Mayan ruins.
