First of all, the ship, the crew, and the ports of call were fantastic. I loved it all. The MAJOR downside to this particular cruise were the 450+ "parrotheads" who basically hijacked the ship and made it into their own personal tailgate party. Not only were several sections of the ship closed for their personal use, but whole beaches at the ports of call were closed to the public for their private parties. Its a real drag to be on vacation and told you cannot go to a particular place because a group has already reserved it. Not that I would want to spend time with these people, mind you, as most of them were drunk well before 4PM and got progressively more obnoxious as the night wore on. We booked well in advance so we could see beautiful St. Lucia, which few cruise ships go to. Next time I hope Carnival gives us fair warning so we can avoid the yahoos and cruise with people who don't act like teenagers for 8 days. Yes it was that bad.

Pros: The ship was beautiful, CLEAN and the staff was very friendly

Cons: You can only see so many 60 year old men in coconut bras and grass skirts

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!
