It's Been A Lovely Cruise :)

Sail Date: June 01, 2006

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was great............ okay- it was a little tacky and gaudy and overdone in decor..........the URNS were a little much. But most ships are a bit overdone so what ya gonna do? Our rooms were great and spacious and the balcony was great. We had 2 rooms- so we got the partition taken down between the 2 balconies and that was really nice. The rooms were really clean and the beds were very comfortable with nice comforters on them. AHHHHHH. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Decks were nice and tidy. I was happy with the ship.

Pros: The itinerary was great- loved the 4 At Sea days...........loved sailing out of NYC- awesome. I liked the ports we visited- sightseeing was great. The ship was nice- our staterooms and balconies were WONDERFUL.

Cons: The bands/singers were awful........except the 3 member Oriental band in Satchmo's Lounge. I have never seen so many singers who could not carry a tune and sang off key constantly. BLEAH. The dinner music soundtracks in Truffles were awful......and they played over and over every night.
