Not what I expected

Sail Date: September 17, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship itslef was nice, our room was nicer than expected. I was very dissapointed that the sports bar not no sports stations. All the clocks on the boat told different times so we missed the captain's "free" cocktail party. The drinks were very watered down.

Pros: room/ steward

Cons: not enough to do/ not everything open

Food and Dining
Cinner every night was very good and our Waiter Zeffrey & Surnim were excellent. If you couldn't decide you would 2 dinners. The buffets at lunch were OK.
Service and Staff
Most of the people were nice but my mom had sent us drink coupons from Carnival and many of the servers wouldn't accept them. IT got to be a hassle.
Entertainment
The nightly shows were very good but during the day there wasn't that much to do. They could have gotten more people involved in things and it would have been more fun.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We were upgraded to an obstrcuted view balcony which was very nice.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
The beaches weren't as nice as St. Thomas but we went to Old San Juan for dinner and drinks and met very nice people. Senor Frogs was very fun too.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
The Island was beautiful but since we got a late start our itinary changed so the ship was only there until 2PM
