Great Cruise

Sail Date: September 01, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The glass elevators and the open atrium on the Carnival Legend gave it a classy elegant feel. It was easy to navigate your way around the ship. The waterslide was a fun, nice touch.

Pros: Ship, Company, Staff

Cons: Leaving

The best entertainment was in Satchmo's Lounge. The band was the best!
Food and Dining
Portions were adequate. However, when we requested any variation from the menu the staff was more than willing to fulfill our requests. The food overall was very good.
Ship Quality
We found it very clean and the layout well planned.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very Spacious for 2, compared to other ships. Also, very clean and well kept. Our housekeeping and steward were awesome!
Service and Staff
Overall the whole staff was just tremendous! The waitstaff in the main dining room were great. The whole staff was very friendly and informative. We dodged 2 hurricanes and were met with a 6 hour (medical emergency) delay coming home (neither of which were the fault of the cruise line). The captain constantly kept us updated on the delay and our coarse along the way. The purser's desk staff went out of their way to help us reschedule our flight and transportation. The steward and housekeeper were very friendly and informative.
