What a reunion!

Sail Date: July 01, 2006

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

A group of us just cruised on Carnival's Legend out of NY to the Caribbean. We had never been away together and we had the trip of a lifetime. During the day, everyone did what they wanted - from getting involved in as many activities as were available to just finding a quiet place in the sun (or shade) to read and relax. The dinners were most enjoyable as we were all able to sit together and catch up and enjoy. The program for children on board Carnival is far superior to any other line we've sailed on. Being able to get to the Caribbean directly from NY is a real plus too! Within an hour we were on vacation with a tropical drink in hand.

Pros: Everyone of us - from kids to middle aged - got to do exactly what we wanted and all had a blast.

Cons: nothing - ok maybe just trying to get a deck chair close to the pool area

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Many choices available! Especially the lunch buffet.
Cabin / Stateroom
Carnival's staterooms are very large and a great value.
Service and Staff
It is amazing to me that the crew can work that hard, put up with all I'm sure they have to and still be as friendly and accomodating as they are.
