Great first Cruise!

Sail Date: November 11, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was very large and ornate. We enjoyed walking around and looking at all the decor.

Pros: The service and staff were great.

Cons: The food and shows were rather mediocre, except in the supper club, there the food was amazing.

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!

Ship Quality
Always cleaning, the crew never stopped working!
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was ok, bed was very comfy. Room larger that we thought. We had a window (obstructed view) but we appreciated the window!
Good service, cute towel animals! Some creaking noises a couple nights.
Food and Dining
We had the late seating for dinner, and our service was wonderful. Our main server was very friendly and felt like one of the family right away. The menu had good variety and the food was good for the most part. Steaks were rather tough and not cooked to our liking.
Service and Staff
Always greeted us, very friendly.
Entertainment
Most of the shows were not so hot, singer/dancers especially not good.
Show with the cruise director was the best, very funny.
comedians were not funny.
Cozumel, Mexico
Beautiful port. we did the private beach, found that it was not worth the money, should have taken a cab to the public beach. Heard it best to ask the staff for suggestions, friends did and had a great lunch!
Don't Miss: snorkeling
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
We went snorkeling at the beach, Coral Cay. very nice. Next time, want to tour the island, very cool place.
Don't Miss: Get a massage from the gals at the beach, wonderful.
George Town, Grand Cayman
we did the stingray swim, very cool. the bus ride was crowded and hot. the trip to hell was kind of dumb. Turtle farm ok.
Don't Miss: Stingray swim
