At the mercy of the cruiseline

Sail Date: September 02, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was smaller than others that have more amenities but nonetheless clean. Good for a first time cruiser.

Pros: Excursions

Cons: The last minute change of itinerary without notice or option for refund or reimbursement. The drink prices are outrageous.

Recommends Carnival Legend? No.

Food and Dining
The main dining facilities was nice and the service and food was excellent. The lido deck buffet food was average.
Ship Quality
Entertainment
Day time on board activities were limited, primarily because the ship had limited resourses in comparison to some of the larger ships. Although a little pricy, many of the excursions are worthwhile. The night-time activites were ample.
Cabin / Stateroom
Size was small but adequate. Decor and amenities were adequate. The bed clearly need a new mattress
Service and Staff
The dining room staff was exceptionally friendly and upbeat. The remainder of the staff was average.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Scuba or snorkling are a must. Some of the best diving in the world.
