This was the second half of our back-to-back cruises.  Six or seven days is our bare minimum for a cruise in order to justify the cost of flying to the port.  Since we were able to book the same cabin for both legs, we didn't have to pack and unpack.  We were personally escorted off the ship, through customs and back on the ship and treated like royalty.  This was our fourth stop in Ensenada in a year so we only got off the ship to go for a short walk.  There were several large, and at times rowdy, groups of passengers celebrating bachelor and bachelorette parties.

Be careful in Ensenada and don't do anything stupid. We saw a passenger detained by the Mexican authorities for carrying a large plastic bag filled with an unknown liquid through security. They emptied the bag and he started arguing with them when they confiscated it.
