Never Again on the Inspiration

Sail Date: August 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Room Type: Suite

Horrible nightmarish decor; cheapness of services; no heat on the ship\, that's right\, NO heat. Had to close vents in stateroom that spewed air conditioning in order to warm it up a little. Public rooms are freezing with no heat\, including showrooms where people brought towels to put over shoulders and bathrobes to keep them warm.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Ship decor

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? No.

Ship Quality
Main deck is 10 with buffet and pool area\, yet had to switch elevators to get up there. Very poorly laid out.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Had an expensive suite\, yet no hand lotion or other amenities that other ships always have. Lousy tv selections with poor picture quality. Called front desk to brighten picture\, was never fixed.
Service and Staff
Curt\, uninformed agent at shore excursion desk who couldn't tell me where to catch shuttle bus to downtown area\, couldn't tell me what we could do there...that is their JOB!
The dancers and singers and shows were above average\, yet on this 4-night cruise only two shows were staged\, and on the fourth night one was repeated. Have been on 46 cruises and never encountered this cheapness. Even on 32-day cruises we had entertainment EVERY night.
