A good weekend had by all

Sail Date: August 01, 2013

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

The ship was fairly large with lots of places to relax. besides the main pool deck there wasn't a crowded feeling.

Pros: Plentiful food, and lots of varied activities

Cons: I felt like they were pushing for guests to buy alcohol drinks EVERYWHERE all the time. and the suprise get out of the room by 8:30 the last morning.

Ship Quality
the ship seemed fairly clean, and there were elevators to most areas available. one difficulty is that on some floors the elevators don't go to every floor. it might help to have signs telling you what areas specific elevators take you rather than the deck names since different sections don't connect all the way up or down.
Food and Dining
Food was great, each night had a good varied selection. some items are better than others, but there is usually something for everyone! and they are more than happy to bring additional starters, dinners or desserts to the table. One thing about food that we found odd was that in the Brassiere grill food seem to show up and disappear at complete random with no schedule as to when there would be food or what it would be.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had four large adults in one room and the pull down beds were surprisingly comfortable. It was a little cramped by necessity but seemed fine when we were all laying down. Otherwise the stateroom was clean, and comfortable. The bathroom and shower were plenty large enough and the cabinets proved more than enough space for all our stuff.
Service and Staff
Everyone seemed happy to help. I understand how difficult it can be to take different customers all the time. I'm sure the staff gets the same questions over and over again and yet they still seemed friendly and helpful especially our steward, Ida and our waitress on night three (although I can't remember her name)
Lots of fun things to do. We especially enjoyed the superstar karaoke as my wife had always wanted to sing with a live band. We also enjoyed the comedians.
