4 Night Baja Mexico (Los Angeles Roundtrip)
Sail Date: November 12, 2012
Ship: Carnival Inspiration
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 5 years ago

The Inspiration is an older ship but has been well maintained. The decor is dated but again in good shape. Windows were very dirty in stateroom. Paid for oceanview but could not see out it. A bit disappointing.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Assigned dining food not impressive. Buffet food cold at time. Even grilled cheese from deli was cold. Pastries looked good but lacked flavor. Many many dining options. Assigned dining felt like Chuck E Cheese. Eating on a schedule.

Loved Stomp!!!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Majority staff friendly. Can only think of 1 person who was not friendly during assigned dining.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Older but well maintaned. Very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom small for 3 people, requested one king bed got 2 twins. Rooms near public areas noisy and hard to sleep when people up laughing and drinking at bar.

Pros: did not seem crowded even when everyone on board

Cons: assigned dining

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!
