What happened to dining room class?

Sail Date: June 11, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Although I am a frequent Carnival cruiser and have no issues with the "ship" I wish the dining room manager enforced the dress code and now allowed jeans, short shorts, cargo shorts, sloppy t-shirts and tank tops. They should be left for the buffet. The manager should stop the people and refuse them into the dining room and send them to the buffet to hold up a sense of class in the dining room.

Pros: Comedien

Cons: Dining room not enforcing dress code

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!

Food and Dining
Three our of the four nights meals were cold. Soups were consistently cold. Entrees were cold.
Service and Staff
Bartender in the Candlight lounge on Tuesday at 8 pm, a man named "Winauna?" was extremely rude and not willing to get my son a soda when he asked for one with his card with his drink sticker on it.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
There were 3 in our room and yet our cabin stewart never left us any glasses in the room. When I asked why he stated that "glasses were hard to get and he has to go up stairs to get them", which he only did once.
Variety shows lack.
