4 Night Baja Mexico (Los Angeles Roundtrip)
Sail Date: March 05, 2012
Ship: Carnival Inspiration
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 6 years ago

The ship needs work on the windows, very rusty and dirty. We paid for window room and felt it was better to keep curtain closed. The bathrooms were too small and had no counter space. The stateroom was in need of a heater, we were freezing and the fumes from frequent painting around the ship were too strong. The rooms were dusty and dirty. Thank goodness we took our own clorox wipes. The small scale of the ship was nice after recently cruising on the way too crowded splendor.

Food and Dining

We really didn't like the late dining time. That normally is my favorite part of the cruise. But, unfortunately they couldn't change the dining time and 815 is to late.It took till 10 ish to be done w/one meal. So, needless to say we only went one time and really didn't eat or enjoy like normal. We ate alot in the lido area/grill/sandwiches, etc but that gets old.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Most staff were helpful, courteous and on top of thier jobs. The bacon server was the worst and most noted during breakfast in the Brasserie !

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The layout was good and most other areas around the ship appeared clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Small in size, probably the smallest I have been in and worst bathroom set up. Most are small but use the space wisely w/ larger counter space. Very important when sharing a bathroom.

Pros: Relaxing !

Cons: Late Dining!
