Cheap cruise

Sail Date: October 17, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We booked our cruise with another family and were assured we would be seated together in the dining room--we weren't. Asked for the maitre d's help and he was useless, bordering on rude. There wasn't a private restaurant on board so to make up for it, Carnival offered "Chef's Table". A $75/person upgrade including a private tour and dinner for 12 people with wine pairings. On a ship of 2500 people, they couldn't get 12 people to pay so the event was cancelled. The cruise was cheap and so were the guests.

Pros: Price

Cons: No private restaurant

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? No.
