Mostly a fun cruise

Sail Date: October 08, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

The Carnivale buffet are was crowded and unorganized. Several times the employees did not refill the trays of food.

Pros: There was always something to do.

Cons: Spa treatment (facial) and lack of customer service by some of the staff

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!

Service and Staff
The staff generally seemed to not care about customer service. This was true for the Carnivale staff, the excursion staff (where the same person actually told us two different things regarding an excursion, thereby losing credibility), and the personnel in guest services.
Food and Dining
The dining room was excellent. However, the Carnivale buffet area would frequently have empty trays of food and several staff members would not make eye contact when we tried to ask for them to refill the trays.
Activities were fun and plentiful. There was only 1 pool, which did not come near to being able to accommodate the number of guests on the cruise.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was very nice. Only improvement I would make would be a small refrigerator.
George Town, Grand Cayman

Don't Miss: Stingray City
Cozumel, Mexico
