The ship decor appears to be somewhat outdated, and some of the common area furnishings were showing wear. The trip would be OK for first timers / party people, but experienced cruise people will notice the obvious shortcomings. While going thru the motions upon arrival, it was not unlike pulling teeth to get any information - little posted and some difficulty (maybe language) getting GOOD information from staff members. While we were handed the daily activity sheet, we needed to go back to a staff member to find out where the lunch was, and needed to go back a third time to ASK for a map of the ship. All this should have been provided the first encounter. Just an example of what occurred throughout the cruise.

Pros: Stateroom staff very attentive.

Cons: Lack of information / direction provided.

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? No.

Ship Quality
The most heard comment between my spouse & I - "It's OK".
Food and Dining
Food presentation in the main dining area was very nice. Overall the food was very unremarkable - portions on the small side and somewhat lacking on the taste side - edilbe but rather bland. Same in the buffet area in regard to the taste. Service was sometimes very slow in the main dining area. One time we spilled an entire glass of soda on our table and the next, which caused the usual amount of attention. We needed to finally ASK the waitstaff to change the table settings - after the waiter had come over twice to serve and our water was refilled by another staff member.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very good accomadations - room staff were very friendly and extremely attentive.
Service and Staff
Room staff led the way - but not the same quality of attention from waitstaff - general service people were very friendly and helpful.
Entertainment
You knew you were not on a Disney cruise.
