Fun First time cruise

We were first time cruiser so we really didn't know what to expect except what other cruisers say on the reviews. Carnival Inspiration really inspired us to cruise even more! It is an older ship but the staff and crew were excellent. Most of the time everyone would say hi and were very polite. The dining area (ours was Carnivale) was nice and elegant.
The embarkation was fast and efficient. We had 5 fun filled days of the holiday weekend (FOJ) The debarkation was easier too. I am still an immigrant so they give you a special area to go to for immigration on the ship. It was easy and left the ship around 915am.
Our time to Grand Cayman was from 8am-2pm(830-9am actual and 130pm to depart) since we had to tender. We decided to just explore the port and chill. Went to Cozumel and we already pre booked a resort for us to enjoy the sun and relax. We had more time 11am to 8pm so everyone got to enjoy more drinks! The fourth of July celebration was really fun, line dancing, live band, games, etc. Overall, it was a good first time and definitely would love to go back for more. I highly recommend this ship!

Pros: The fun atmosphere

Cons: We had to be so cramped up in the main dining table

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!

Ship Quality
It was an ample sized ship, a bit older but i read it was recently renovated. The pool was somewhat small for the ship's capacity.
Food and Dining
The food was excellent for the most part. the only thing we didn't really like was the Mongolian food. The flavors were really off from all the mongolian cuisine that we've had. I don't think it's the cook's fault but just the choice of Carnival to put those flavors on their menu. There were also days when they had a buffet from 1130pm to about 1am. Not bad at all!
Entertainment
The Shout was awesome show. We didn't really like the Inspiration band. They lacked inspiration to be honest. They should play their set list continuosly not stop and look for another song to play when everyone was already having fun. The band inside the lounge was good. They can play really well and didn't have to stop and read the song books.
Cabin / Stateroom
clean and comfortable. We had the porthole, it was quiet for the most part except when you hear the machine when it's about to dock.
Service and Staff
I recommend Glori our stateroom steward as well as the main dining wait staff Henry and Neli. They were excellent! polite and courteous. Neli remembered all our names in our table
Cozumel, Mexico
Went to Nachi Coccom for a private beach experience. It went well, had all inclusive drinks and food. I would ask them first about the food next time (if there is) our waiter didn't really explain how the all inclusive works but all in all we had fun and got a lil wasted.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Margaritaville = great drinks, kinda pricey but hey we got to bring two margarita glasses for souvenir.
