4 Night Western Caribbean (Tampa Roundtrip) Sail Date: June 23, 2011 Ship: Carnival Inspiration Cabin Type: Inside Traveled As: Couple Reviewed: 6 years ago
The ship was beautiful! The staff was fantastic! The food was delicious! I tried food I had never eaten before because it would of been to expensive to eat at home. Also, there was always something fun to do on the ship. We took a shore excursion at Cozumel and the tour guides were very helpful and professional.
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was excellent! It was awesome to dine at a 5 star restaurant every night! We ate shrimp, lobster, and veal. It was great! We had any time dining hours so we were able to go eat whenever we wanted which was great. We never ate at the same time because there were certain shows or things going on that we wanted to do.

Entertainment was great we loved the comedy shows and the dancers. We wished we had those options every night but we only could watch them two out of four nights. Also, it was our honeymoon we asked if there was anything available just for honeymooners and there wasn't so we were a little disappointed with that.
Service and Staff

The ship staff was fantastic in every way! I think we called guest services 10 times to ask questons and they were always helpful. The person cleaning our room was always great he had our beds put together as soon as we arrived.

The ship was beautiful and always clean. We noticed we always saw the workers constantly cleaning the ship. The only reason we would never go on this ship again is because online it said the ship had two pools and a basketball court. There was only one pool for 600 people so the pool was always packed with people and we could never get in it. Also, there was not a basketball court on the ship.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was small but that is expected on a ship. It was not horrible. The room was always cleaned by the staff and we absolutely loved the towel creations made for us. The only bad thing is we had to twin beds put together and one was ok but the other one was very hard to sleep on.
We wanted to go the the Ruins but there was not enough people signed up to go to the mainland so our excursion was canceled. We picked another excursion were we went to a resort were we ziplined, rock climbed, and snorkeled. It was great and the guides were great but it was to expensive $90. We also went shopping and the people in town hounded us to buy things so we went back to the stores by the ship the poeple there didn't drive us crazy.
Don't Miss: We wished we could of seen the ruins that we didn't get to see.
Pros: Not having to have cash on you just a sail and sign card
Cons: Changes made to the ship that were not updated online. Our ship only had one pool for the whoe ship.
