Decent first cruise

Sail Date: May 02, 2011

Room Type: Inside

Initially, the size of the one pool on the ship was shocking. It turned out not to be a problem. The bathroom smelled like crap, and there was one night when the room smelled like garlic. Upon docking at the port in Mexico, the bottom two decks had an extremely strong smell of crap while debarking. The orange juice tasted like colored water and the pineapple juice was exactly like grapefruit juice (I ordered two glasses which had different colors, and they both tasted like grapefruit). Outside of eating in the dining room, the food was terrible. Inside the dining room, the majority of all the food was wonderful. There was a decent amount of things to do on the ship. I didn't like the prices of the alcohol, or the fact that you can't bring your own. Overall, it was still a fun first cruise.

Pros: the food

Cons: the smelly bathroom

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!

Ship Quality
Decent ship size. Ship was clean.
Cabin / Stateroom
I assume most ship rooms are the same small size. Aside from the smells which I mentioned before, the room was ok.
Food and Dining
If talking about the food in the dining room, the food was excellent. Anywhere else on board was worse than a street vendor.
Service and Staff
Aside from one crew member who asked a friend of mine if she wasn't drinking because she was pregnant, even though she didn't look anywhere near pregnant, the rest of the crew was very friendly.
Entertainment
There was a pretty good selection of things to keep you busy.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Many places to shop. Snorkeing was out of this world. You can go to Hell (the town).
Don't Miss: Not sure
