An Anniversary to remember

This was our first cruise, so we do not have very much to compare it to, but we were very happy with our vacation with Carnival Cruise Lines. One other thing we were a little disappointed in was the amount of time to spend at the destinations. The stop at the Cayman Islands was short, barely enough time to get an excursion in.

Pros: Plenty of activities to choose from. There was a delay in getting to our port due to fog, so we had to remain on the ship 11 hours longer than planned. Carnival was very helpful in assisting us with rearranging our airfare as well as booking a night in a local hotel.

Cons: The thing I liked least was the odor of smoke in many places of the ship. Many of the lounges have smoking, which are open to stairways. There were often times when we walked up the steps to the smell of smoke.
