Best Family Vacation Ever!

Review SummaryThis was our second Carnival cruise, but the first time with all three kids. We knew from our first Carnival cruise that our daughter enjoyed the cruise and Camp Carnival, but did not know how it would be with all 3 kids. Well, excellent, the best, super, are all words that come to mind! Our kids had the best vacation ever; there words, and so did we. We were able to enjoy some time alone and enjoy time as a family. The food was good and the kids had alot of choices. They have a childrens menu that they give the kids in the main dining room that is actually a coloring book. Each night they present them with one and a box of crayons. The kids can either order off the childrens menu or off the main menu. We had late seating and although it was a great time for us, the kids were tired and sometimes fell asleep. I would recommend early seating for anyone with kids below 8 years of age. The pools were nice and the slides on the back of the ship were my sons best friends. I could not keep him off of them. The camp offered two late night parties which we brought all three kids to and my husband and I enjoyed a comedy show, dancing in the disco and some casino time! It really had everything for everyone. The rooms were big enough for the 5 of us, granted we did not use one of the overhead bunks and instead decided to let one of our twin 6 year olds sleep with us in the big bed. The ship and the cabins were very clean and we always returned to neatly made beds and fresh towels. The staff was very friendly and took very good care of the entire family. We are already planning our next Carnival Cruise.
Pros: Camp Carnival
Cons: Price we paid for transfers to and from airport
