Good cruise experience

Sail Date: June 29, 2009

Room Type: Inside

Just returned from a trip on the Inspiration. Somewhat dated looking ship even though it had undergone a renovation within recent years. Cabin was adequate, housekeeping staff wonderful. Dining room food and service were wonderful. We did feel like you had to pay extra for every little thing, but it is a business I suppose... Big disappointment was the Waterworks so heavily promoted was not fully operational. Large slide closed due to wind one day, and even the sprinklers and lower level water portions were not working. Only 1 other small pool which was always packed.

Pros: Dining room food and service was superb!

Cons: Waterworks area was not fully operational. Also felt nickel and dimed to death!

Problems when booking through Soto cruises for stingray experience. Once we finally got there, it was good - but they left us sitting for almost an hour before we got picked up, and then again at their site when they went back to hawk extra people from the port to join our group (when we had pre-booked)
