We have been on 70 cruises/crossings, etc. Our first cruise was in 1968 on the old Queen Elizabeth.

We were very pleasantly surprised at the decor of the ship. The physical layout and locations of all the public rooms was easy to navigate. The professionalism of the crew and cruise staff was exemplary.

The Carnival Inspiration is definitely a "fun ship".

Calica was a "nothing" port in itself. It was merely a staging area for excursions or for taking a taxi or bus to Playa Del Carmen or CanCun.
Don't Miss: Haggling with the shopkeepers at the stalls just off the ship.

Don't Miss: Haggling with the shopkeepers at the stalls just off the ship.

Pros: Wonderful service throughout the ship. Most especially the dining room.

Cons: Inadequate access for handicapped to outer decks on Promenade and Sports decks.

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!
