By being a frequent user of , we seemed to get a larger cabin, though all the rates were well below competing ships. This is a family oriented ship, though there seem to be enough activities to keep the young ones busy and not be a distraction.

The meals were of a good variety at each sitting and the cabin crew were exceptionally friendly and gave A-1 service. It helps to throw in a "good morning" ( Sal-a-met Bag-ee) and a "thank you" (ta-reem-a-kasi ) in Indonesian and they will feel part of your family. Thank you would be "Salama" to Filipinos on the staff. Their home country is on their pins.

This is a good cruise for a short getaway and still feel far away.

The Captain plotted a course that was well away from any bad weather, though there was a hurricane hugging the coast. The Inspiration is large enough that 4-5 foot swells are barely noticed.

Overall, for the money, it's a nice casual getaway as opposed to a more formal cruise.

Pros: Good food, nice ports and decent sized room

Cons: could use more updating, the entertainment was below par
