Embarkation was smooth (this was our eighth cruise). Security was definitely beefed up(well appreciated despite the very minor inconvenience). Food was great, especially the seafood. Nightly shows were great - also, two very good comedians - lounge music was good, although the piano bar musician was rather vulgar! The gym, spa and saunas are fabulous. Linny, the cruise director, was simply great -- not overbearing, but there when you needed him! The ports were nice (Jamaica, Caymans and Cozumel).Disembarkation was a breeze. The only problem with this cruise was that the smokers control the ship - they have the run of the lounges, the shops, the hallways, the elevators, the atrium, the casino and the Promenade Boulevard. Maybe as more ships come to the New Orleans port, Carnival will wise up and make one or more of them "SMOKE FREE"!!!!!!!
