Satisfactory Cruise

Sail Date: March 01, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

I would still recommend this ship as the price is pretty reasonable and are therefore getting what is expected but the overall experience was not above and beyond expectations. The quantity of food is definitely not a problem but the quality was not as good as the other cruises I have been on. I would recommend this cruise for groups of people mainly in their early 20s. There is a club on the ship, Karaoke every night and of course numerous bars to make it fun for a group of friends as there are two full days at sea.

Pros: Bands on the ship

Cons: Quality of Food

Recommends Carnival Inspiration? Yes!

Ship Quality
Smaller ship, kept very clean though. The interior of the ship was a modern design with lots of lights which looked very nice at night.
Food and Dining
Could offer more vegetarian options and the quality of the food was lower than other cruise lines I have cruised on.
Cabin / Stateroom
Decent size room and very comfortable beds.
Due to the younger mid 20s crowd on board, more activities could be provided for this group. There was enough to do during the sea days but options could be greater as the options may not be exactly what was had in mind on how to spend the day.
Service and Staff
All employees are always very excited.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Beautiful waters and beaches!! Definitely go to Stingray City and swim with the Stingrays. At first it is very intimidating but the stingray's are calm and friendly. The snorkeling in the Coral Reef is also beautiful! Your time is limited in Grand Cayman so there isn't really time for relaxing on the beach plus an excursion.
Don't Miss: Stingray City
Calica, Mexico
There are a lot of water activities offered but do the rough seas they canceled most of them. Going through the Yucatan Peninsula is a must do, including a visit to a Cenote where you can swim and snorkel, plus a visit to the caves.
Don't Miss: Cenote's through the Yucatan Peninsula
